Beginner Leagues / Friendly list

We run beginner leagues for players with little experience. These leagues provide an opportunity to meet other players of a similar ability and play against them in a relaxed and casual environment. They provide new members with a non-intimidating avenue into the club and help to introduce new players to each other.

We also have a friendly list, for players who are wanting to be contacted for friendly matches. Leagues aren’t for everyone and if you would like to play people without the competition element that a league presents, this is a perfect way for you to meet opponents to play against.

Flexible membership

Our flexible membership options provide affordable payment options for members to enjoy our facilities and be part of our fantastic club. We offer monthly, annual, as well as daytime and student/ junior membership options. For more information, please find our online application form here.

Racketball leagues

Beginner Leagues

For beginner players with little experience. These leagues provide an opportunity to meet other players of a similar ability and play against them in a relaxed and casual environment. They follow the same format as the main internal leagues but run independently providing new members with a non-intimidating avenue into the club.

Summer League

Summer league is a very popular and fun, social competition for members of all levels. It is a team event made up of 6 players, representing both squash and racketball. This is one of the best social events of the year and is a great way of playing through the summer months.

Internal Leagues

With over 90 competitors ranging from beginner to county level, the internal leagues cater for all abilities. Internal leagues run all year round in six week cycles; it is a great way to get started, meet new players and improve your game. There are prizes each cycle for players to win, adding that extra bit of incentive to keep improving.

Club Championships

The Club Championships take place every year and are made up of various categories, for both squash and racketball. There are A and B events, meaning members of all levels can get involved. The A event is steeped with history, with previous winners including 3 time World Champion Nick Matthew, Over 45 National Champion Murray Scott and Over 40 National Champion Nick Wall.
