Abbeydale is the base for MTACADEMY, a thriving junior squash programme with a strong pathway from beginner through to county junior players. MTACADEMY is headed by club professional Mark Tasker, who is a England squash level 3 coach and the head junior county coach for Derbyshire Squash.

MTACADEMY ladders run all year round. They are great fun for the children and enhance the junior squash experience at Abbeydale. The ladders cater for all levels and squads across the MTACADEMY programme.

We run 4 Grand Prix competitions a year for all MTACADEMY players. We also have regular friendly external inter-club matches so juniors get the chance to play against other juniors from other clubs.
